| 1807 | First recorded baptism was Christiana Waleiser. |
| 1857 | May 27th, the first Holy Communion was administered at Zion. The service was in German. |
| 1901 | The service and sermon were gradually converted to English. |
| 1954 | The Zion congregation was transferred from the Ministerium Of Pennsylvania to the Central Pennsylvania Synod. |
| 1965 | Nursery Sunday School was added at Zion. |
| 1975 | Two Sunday morning worship services with baby-sitting available and monthly Communion services were instituted. Also, lay lectors were recruited to assist with the liturgy. |
| 1977 | Wednesday morning Prayer Services were introduced. |
| 1978 | Services were taped for the shut-in members. |
| 1979 | Sunday School used “Living Faith”, the first specific series for teachers. |
| 1981 | The second Sunday service was changed from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. to allow more time for Sunday School and for the choir. |
| 1981 | Children’s sermons were being given on a monthly basis. |
| 2002 | The second Sunday service was changed from 10:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. to allow more time for Sunday School and for the choir. |
| 2006 | The second Sunday service was returned to its original 10:30 a.m. time. |
